My introducing
with Dj Krush was
incredible. A friend of mine let me listen to the Dj Krush - Krush
Album (thanks Tyno!). I was totally stunned by Krush' music, I never
heard something like that before. At that moment I listened to
Fingathing and Portishead, but Dj Krush was a totally new experience.
I listened more and more to abstract hip hop, trip hop, jazz and break
beats. Artist as Dj Vadim, Dj Cam, Massive Attack, Kid Loco, Rae
&
Christian, Aim, U.F.O, Dj Smash, Mark Farina, Kruder &
Dorfmeister
inspired me a lot. But the Dj Krush albums always were the best. I
started collecting his cds, records and other Krush stuff. In the
discography you can see which releases I've got in my collection.
In the summer of 2004 I was a couple of days in Japan, where I tried to
meet Dj Krush. I met Hirokimi and Noriko of Es-U-Es Corporation, his
managers, but at that time Hideaki was busy with some new
tracks.
In the same year it was the first time I saw him live. It was at Lowlands
in the Dutch countryside and it was really amazing!
Dj Krush is the best turntable wizard and hip hop producer in this
world. All my respect for Hideaki. Peace.
